USPS is to rectify a Security Breach The United State Postal Service is recovering from a “cyber-security intrusions” that started two months ago and has exposed 800,000 employees. These employees’ have their names, addresses, telephone numbers and social security number compromised. Although some of the USPS computers were hacked, it appears that the customer care service portion was unaffected. They claim it runs as it normally does. There has been no evidence supporting that any credit card numbers have been accessed. It is believed that these attacks came from China but not confirmed. The FBI and other agencies are investigating the source or sources. The investigation is current and there is no solid reason as to why the Chinese would want this type of information. Right now, there should be no problems with using a credit card on-line or point of sale. Until further notice, everyone should not be scared from using the United States Postal Service
